Well… here I am… not to far off from the BIG 4-Oh. No, I am not admitting how close I am to hitting it, but it is bearing down on me. Rather than laze around eating birthday cake and ice cream, however, I took off on my ATV for about a 30 mile (60 mile round trip) cruise over to Palmer to visit the DMV and get my driver’s license renewed.
It was a good fun expedition, if you ignore the few times I had to backtrack (which were fun still) and the point where I was uneasy my ATV might roll side over side down a hill I hadn’t realized was that steep when I followed ATV trail… apparently others were all going up along it, not down it. Oh well, I made it down safe, even if I did have to do some acrobatics to keep the ATV from rolling down sideways.
